Karuski

is a series of happy textile products: bags, jewellery and home decor such as hand printed pillow cases.

Karuski is a company and an independent label designed by the textile designer Minna Soininen. The name Karuski derives from her heritage in East Finland (meaning candy, sweet in a local dialect).

Prints and products' forms get influence even further from the east, especially from Japan.

Art & craft, ecology and local production are important issues for the designer. Therefore all products are hand made in Finland. Fabrics are in the first place either recycled or left over materials.
