The name Karuski derives from my heritage in East Finland (meaning candy, sweet in a local dialect).
Nature and little things in a daily life inspire me to create new. Many of Karuski items hold the same form from year to another. Materials, embellishments and accessories are chosen to match the season, ensuring the uniqueness of each item.
I make Karuski items by hand in a small quantity. Materials I use are in the first place recycled, vintage and remnants from others'. Environmental and ecological values play an important role in my handmade business.
